Art Exhibition: Shayd Johnson – ‘Not An Island’

to March 31st. Shayd Johnson is an accomplished photographer now residing on the Sunshine Coast. Pop in during the month of March to check out his beautiful new collection ‘Not An Island’.

‘Not An Island’ is a series of images captured on the Sunshine Coast over the last year. The pandemic gave me an opportunity to slow down and appreciate the beauty in my own back yard. I shot these photos on film, to create a sense of timelessness in my images, reflecting a bit on the character and heritage of the coast, while showing off it’s beauty through landscapes.
