Indigo Dye + Shibori Techniques – CANCELLED

Instructor: Amber Friedman.  We will learn about how Indigo pigment is different from all other natural dyes, the proper way to prepare and use it to dye fabric. You will learn the Japanese art of Shibori, which is a classic way of making patterns by folding, tying, clamping and sewing fabric.  We will also make a standard Indigo vat designed for high production.
