FibreWorks Studio & Gallery
Established in 2006 & transitioned to a registered non-profit society in 2021. A community of supportive creativity for the fibre arts – where individuals can be inspired by & instructed in the myriad of expressions that fibre can take form.
The FibreWorks SHOP showcases local artists on a global scale featuring techniques such as sculptured felt, wood turning, wearables, home décor, cards & journals.
Community-based social & educational gatherings are hosted at the Studio as are Slow Sundays & monthly Spin In. Hosted in a collection of unique yurts, which provide a warm & creative space.
Spinning, weaving, dyeing, basket making, woodworking, papermaking, quilting – all in a beautiful 28’ yurt! North of Madeira Park.
