FibreWorks Studio & Gallery
Established in 2006 and transitioned to become a registered non-profit society in 2021. FibreWorks is a community of supportive creativity for the fibre arts on the Sunshine Coast–where individuals can be inspired by and instructed in the myriad of expressions that fibre can take form.
The FibreWorks SHOP showcases local artists on a global scale featuring techniques such as sculptured felt, wood turning, original wearables, home décor, unique hand-made cards & journals.
Delight in the colour & texture of the Studio, providing an opportunity to purchase hand dyed fibres for spinning or felting, hand dyed & hand spun yarn and finished items from local artists.
Community-based social & educational gatherings are hosted at the Studio are our Slow Sundays and monthly Spin In.
Hosted in a collection of unique yurts, which provide a warm and creative space for both locals and visitors alike to enjoy and participate in the fibre art experience.
