Jeanne Robinson Art

Tours
Art Crawl #
7

I am a painter of large bold landscapes. My art arises from my deep emotional connection to nature that began in my early childhood, surrounded by the rugged boreal forests and pristine lakes of northern Manitoba.
In my paintings I attempt to remember and enhance an emotional experience I have had in nature and express it to an observer. As you see, colour and texture are the primary means of conveying this experience and I use both with considerable abandonment.
In my paintings I use primarily oil, palette knife and brush.

Art Crawl Details

Jeanne & Friends, 636 Woodland, Gibsons.
This year art Jeanne will be featuring mostly paintings of beautiful scenes around BC, with her love of trees of various kinds taking centre stage. Her canvasses continue to be big, bold and colourful. We have a surprising guest artist: John Clyde with his fully operational model of a steam donkey. The model is about 6 feet tall and is impressive to see especially when it blows its whistle. We are happy to welcome back returning artist Debra Nelson and newcomers Wendy Charters and Tammy Hartmann.
