I started taking photos when I was six with my parents’ point-&-click film camera. My favourite subjects were gophers. I wasn’t very good at sneaking up on them, so I had a lot of “See… the gopher’s right there, Mom!” type of pictures. Now, my ”go-to” creatures for photography are bugs and birds. Dragonflies and herons are majestic and graceful hunters that can be trying to photograph, but worth all the patience in the world when I get to capture the right moment. At the top of my photography list, however, are photos of my daughter. It’s pure fun. My other creative outlet is as an arrowsmith and fletcher.
