Colourful paintings inspired by both the tangible universe and the world of imagination. Often when I start a painting with an image from the natural world, it morphs into something else. When I start a painting with no conscious image or idea I begin by offering some marks for the canvas to respond to. Eventually the canvas answers with a suggestion and then the fun begins. The end products of these kinds of paintings are always a surprise.
