Learn to Brew Kombucha

February 29 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm | The Arts Building, Gibsons
Free – $10

An introduction to the process of fermentation with an overview of ingredients, equipment, best practices and food safety, with a hands-on demonstration of the Kombucha making process. Attendees will each get to make their own batch of Kombucha to take home. Please bring a 1 litre glass jar if possible. Presenter Brenna Fynes. Free with suggested donation of $10.  Proceeds to One Straw Society to cover event costs and support future offerings.

Planning and Preparing Your Garden Using Permaculture

inclusive, participatory and will include practical activities that support the application of learnings to ones own life. Participants will be able to take home a seedling of their choice. Some take home resources will also be available. Please bring a notebook & writing utensil if desired, water bottle, and reusable mug for nourishing herbal infusions.
