Oh Miso! Cooking Classes

What is a DASHI broth, How to make it. What is a MISO, how to use it. Let’s make a simple miso soup together!

$30 (includes a light meal and tea and small gift ) 6 person maximum per class.

Thanksgiving Pie Sale

St. Hilda’s 12th Annual Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser!!
Price is $18 for a luscious, nine inch, homemade, take and bake pie.
Covid-19 Safety Measures in Place:
The delicious pies will be sold frozen, unbaked. Take them home and pop in the freezer, or bake right away.
The sale will take place outside at the front doors of the church. Please maintain minimum safe distance from each other.
Masks will be worn by the folks bringing you pies, please respect their efforts by doing the same.

Saturday 10:30 – 12:30; Sunday 12:30 – 2:30. 8 to Sep 26-27. An old-fashioned, country-style market selling fresh, locally grown farm and garden produce, home baking, honey, soap, woodcrafts, jewellery, and a variety of original items hand-crafted by local artisans. Enjoy hot food and drinks in the sunshine, listening to the live music on our Open Mic Stage.

Tiny Farm Fundraiser: Tiny Farm, Big Table

Join One Straw Society for an outdoor farm-to-table soirée that features a multi-course Coast culinary collaboration, local craft beverages, live music, and an urban farm experience on the Tiny Farm, One Straw’s exciting community project.

To comply with the provincial health authority’s social distancing requirements, tickets can be purchased in tables for 4-6 people. We are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable evening for families and friends in your social “bubble.” A very limited number of tickets for groups less than 4 people are available if necessary.

PR – Farmer John’s Pop up Veggie Market

Saturdays, at the Wildwood Pub @ 10:30 and we’ll be there till we sell out. John will have more heiloom tomatoes, broccoli and more chard and all the carrots and great salad mix and the hens are back to laying after being broody for a bit. Hope to see you on Saturday!
