Our annual Deck the Halls Artisan Fair is here! This year it will take place solely in the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre building. Many local vendors will be displaying their wares and festive food treats will be available for purchase. It’s the perfect time and place to get into the holiday spirit while picking up a gift and supporting our local vendors.
The first Christmas Fair that the Sunshine Coast Arts Council produced was held in 1979 in the current Sunshine Coast Arts Centre. Over the years, the Fair has changed venue from the Sechelt Band Hall to the Rockwood and Seaside Centre before finally coming home once again to the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre, expanding to two venues last year, and this year returning to one.
Entrance is by donation.
The Hackett Park Artisan Fair is an annual gathering of local and regional vendors. The Fair has been an annual tradition on the Coast for 35 years, and attracts close to 5000 visitors seeking to discover the creations of artisans who are jury selected based on craftsmanship, originality, and the unique items they have to offer for sale.
We will have live musicians in Hackett Park’s new amphitheatre. There will be a large variety of artisans, artists, entertainers, and food vendors!
The entrances to the Fair are located at the corner of Trail Ave. and Medusa as well as Trail Ave. and Dolphin St. in Sechelt. Admission is by donation for adults and free for children under twelve.
