On a hot muggy day 1892 in Fall River an unknown person took an axe and gave a number of whacks to Andrew Borden and his wife Abigail. Andrew’s youngest daughter Lizzie was acquitted of the double murder but acquittal did nothing to dispel suspicions. Did she? Or didn’t she? The question still reverberates.

Off the Page play reading – POSTPONED to April 26

HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED, by local, nationally award-winning playwright David King, will be the final reading of the season for the Off The Page play reading series. ThIs clever comedy, about a recently widowed man, his sister, and their long time friend, is set in Gibsons 5 years in the future. The readings are always entertaining, but if you live in Gibsons, How Things Have Changed is sure to strike a chord. (How WILL things have changed?) This month’s actors are Dave Hurtubise, Wanda Nowicki and John Payne. Admission by donation.

But when she walks in on her seventeen year old son Trevor kissing him it unleashes something powerful and sacred in her. Their three lives are set in motion – perpetually intertwined. Lowest Common Denominator explores the often-controversial world of intergenerational relationships and unleashes the darkness that exists just underneath a thin skin. Admission by donation.

After struggling for years as a bird photographer, Carol, realizes her birth mother millionaire could solve a lot of financial problems but a new love complicates everything. Her family, a crabby artistic daughter and a wise-cracking elderly Polish mother, take sides making things much worse. This is a heart-warming comedy about family and relationships.
