RC Legion: Budge Schachte Group

Original music and covers that move adeptly through a myriad of styles and influences all filtered through their eclectic sensibilities. Budge Schachte – guitar, compositions; Graham Ord – sax, flute; Anna Lumiere, keyboard, James Meger, Bass; Mike Ardagh – drums.

RC Legion: Jason Lane Band

A four piece band that delivers the best of upbeat, danceable rock and blues music from the 70s to the 90s. Fronted by powerhouse singer Chantal Sayers, the band pays homage to the songs that influenced them and the powerful female singers of that time. The audience will immediately recognize the tributes to Alannah Myles, Aretha Franklin, Sass Jordan, Tracy Chapman, Melissa Etheridge and Lady Gaga.

RC Legion: Simbi + The Witness

simbi + the witness attempts to hold listeners in a dream-like presence. the gypsy folk sounds and eerie melodies are accompanied by words that play with themes that are designed to elicit catharsis.

Gibsons Legion: Bad Buddy with Belt – CANCELLED

The Psych-Surf Pop Punk style of Bad Buddy with three-part harmonic explosions wrapped in a gritty, primal, snarling exterior. Plus Alt Grunge local band ‘Belt’ four dedicated young musicians coming together to make music.

RC Legion: Rat Silo; Muffdusters; Blacksmith & Brewer

Rat Silo – Sonically prodigious contusive post-rockpunk featuring Jim Newton, formerly of  Sons of Freedom with Don Binns on bass (Sons of Freedom, TrailerHawk, Econoline Crush, Art Bergmann), Sean Stubbs on drums (Numb, SNFU, Jakalope, Bif Naked) Finn Manniche (the Jazzmanian Devils, Van Django) on guitar, Dave Osbourne (5440) on keyboards, and Erkan Gencol on loops and noises.

Blacksmith & Brewer – Guitarist/singer/brewer Chris Booth and drummer/blacksmith Kelly Backs come by the name Blacksmith & Brewer honestly, (their actual day jobs!) and have forged a musical bond that reaches back to the early days of punk and into the future of rock.

Muffdusters – Multi-dimensional poetically justified ear-candy.

Gibsons Legion: An Evening of Music with Stefanie Joyce and friends

Steeped in the tradition of country and roots music, Stefanie Joyce’s songs take an unapologetic, hard look at the grit of life, blending keen lyrical observation with signature tongue-in-cheek humor. Featuring Harry Bartlett, The Brother Honeywell, and Estelle & The Honeydews.

RC Legion: The Marwills

Groovy bass and big drums anchor an explosive frontman and fiery guitars. The Marwills are a thick, juicy cut of Rock stuffed with the Blues and covered in Grade A Canadian dirt. They make music with serious guts and they sweat while they do it. Their sound conjures smoky blues bars, shady drinking establishments, and the golden age of rock and roll.
